Saka’s Comeback secures Arsenal’s victory over Fulham
Bukayo Saka made a triumphant return from a 101-day injury layoff, scoring just seven minutes after coming on as a substitute to help Arsenal secure a 2-1 victory over Fulham at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night
The England forward entered the match in the second half, with the score at 1-0, and made an immediate impact. Saka capitalised on a flick from Gabriel Martinelli, heading the ball in at the far post in the 73rd minute to seal the victory.
The win moved Arsenal to within nine points of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Arsenal will face Everton on Saturday in the league before turning their focus to the first leg of their quarter-final against Real Madrid at home next Tuesday.
