Tinubu will get 100% votes in Kogi, says Gov Ododo

Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has declared his readiness to deliver what he described as “100 per cent” of the state’s votes to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.

The governor made the pledge while receiving members of the pro-Tinubu support group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN) Movement, during a courtesy visit to the Government House. The visit culminated in his decoration as Patron of the movement in Kogi State.

The delegation was led by the National Deputy Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Hajiya Aishat Oyiza Omade, alongside other national officials and state coordinators. They briefed the governor on the group’s nationwide grassroots mobilisation drive ahead of the 2027 polls.

Speaking during the engagement, Governor Ododo expressed strong confidence in the policies and projects of the Tinubu administration, saying the President’s performance justifies a second term in office.

“Leave Kogi State to me. I will lead from the front and ensure we deliver 100 per cent votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the governor stated.

He commended the RTIFN Movement for what he described as its strategic grassroots engagement, urging members to intensify efforts in educating Nigerians on the achievements and programmes under the Renewed Hope agenda.

Ododo further pledged to collaborate with key stakeholders and party structures across the state to strengthen mobilisation efforts in the build-up to the next general elections.

Earlier in her remarks, Hajiya Omade said the purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the movement to the governor, solicit his support, and deepen collaboration toward sustaining the Renewed Hope vision of the current administration.

The highlight of the event was the formal decoration of Governor Ododo as the official Patron of the RTIFN Movement in Kogi State.

Among those present at the meeting were the Deputy Coordinator of the group, Mr. Zack Orji, who represented the National Coordinator, Ambassador Bala; the Secretary-General, Felix Arome; as well as other officials and members of the movement.
