UK Visit: Tinubu meets Prime Minister Starmer at Downing Street
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer as part of his ongoing two-day state visit to the United Kingdom.
The Nigerian leader was received at 10 Downing Street, the official residence of the British Prime Minister, where both leaders were seen on the steps of the iconic building ahead of their bilateral meeting.
The engagement forms part of a series of high-level discussions aimed at strengthening diplomatic, economic and strategic relations between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
The meeting is expected to focus on key areas of cooperation, including trade, investment, security and infrastructure development, as both countries seek to deepen longstanding bilateral ties.
