The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council, extends its heartfelt congratulations to its distinguished former Chairman, Barrister Malachi Uzendu, on his successful graduation from the Nigerian Law School and his formal call to Bar.
In a statement by the Secretary of Council, Comrade Jide Oyekunle, issued on Friday in Abuja, the Council described Uzendu’s achievement as a milestone that highlights his resilience, determination, and unwavering pursuit of professional excellence.
The NUJ FCT Council noted that Uzendu’s transition into the legal profession is a source of pride not only for him as an individual but also for the entire journalism fraternity.
Over the years, he has demonstrated strong commitment to excellence in journalism, leadership, and service to humanity. His new accomplishment, the Council observed, further reinforces his versatility and passion for continuous learning.
“Barrister Uzendu has always upheld the values of fairness, justice, and integrity. We are confident that these principles, which guided his career as a journalist and union leader, will continue to shape his practice in the legal profession,” the statement read in part.
The Council wishes him continued success, wisdom, and fulfillment in his legal career and expresses hope that his contributions will help strengthen both the media and justice sectors in Nigeria.
