Bowen goal secures draw for West Ham in Nuno’s first match
Jarrod Bowen’s second-half strike earned West Ham a 1-1 draw against Everton in their Premier League clash, marking Nuno Espírito Santo’s debut as manager.
Everton took the lead early when Michael Keane powered home a header from James Garner’s precise cross. The hosts looked in control but failed to extend their advantage.
West Ham grew into the game, and Bowen found the equaliser in the 65th minute with a left-footed shot that deflected off Keane and wrong-footed the goalkeeper.
The Hammers finished strongly, showing resilience that will please their new boss, though they remain second from bottom with four points. Everton moved up to ninth, level on eight points with Chelsea and three other sides.
