Burna Boy sets record with $3.1m Oceania Tour revenue
Grammy-winning Nigerian music star Burna Boy has set a new record as the African artist with the highest revenue from a single concert performance.
According to Touring Data, a global tour monitoring platform, Burna Boy’s “No Sign of Weakness” tour has become the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania’s history, generating $3.1 million from more than 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.
The milestone was achieved during the Sydney stop of the tour, which took place at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, where the concert alone generated $1.117 million in revenue.
The “No Sign of Weakness” tour spanned 20 shows across three continents — North America, Europe and Oceania — drawing large audiences as the Nigerian superstar continued to expand his global reach.
During the Oceania leg of the tour, four shows held in Australia attracted about 30,946 fans and generated a combined revenue of $3.1 million.
The achievement further underscores the growing global appeal of African music, as Burna Boy continues to fill major arenas outside the continent.
The “On The Low” singer has consistently recorded strong international ticket sales, with his tours ranking among the highest-grossing by African artists worldwide.
