CDCFIB Recruitment: 360,923 applicants disqualified, 432,935 incomplete as portal releases final CBT data
No fewer than 360,923 applicants have been disqualified from the ongoing recruitment exercise of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), while 432,935 others failed to complete their applications, according to new data released on the board’s official recruitment portal.
The figures, published after the closure of the Computer-Based Test (CBT) phase, show that nearly 800,000 applicants out of about 1.9 million either failed to meet requirements or did not complete their applications.
Out of the total applications received, 1,120,491 (58.5%) were marked as completed, 432,935 (22.6%) were incomplete, while 360,923 (18.9%) were disqualified.
The gender breakdown shows a wide disparity, with male applicants dominating the exercise. A total of 737,270 completed applications were recorded for males, representing 69.5 percent, while female applicants accounted for 323,052, or 30.5 percent.
State-by-state data shows Kogi State leading with 75,494 completed applications, followed closely by Nasarawa with 69,041 and Oyo with 69,071. Jigawa recorded 54,414, Yobe 52,487, and Ogun 50,940.
At the lower end of the scale, Lagos State — Nigeria’s most populous and commercial hub — recorded one of the lowest figures, with between 5,000 and 6,000 completed applications.
The CDCFIB portal confirmed that the CBT examination phase of the recruitment exercise has now been concluded.
