BREAKING: Obasa Re-Elected As Speaker Of Lagos State House Of Assembly, Meranda as Deputy
The re-election was declared in the House chamber on Monday after Speaker Moji Meranda stepped down, concluding weeks of internal conflicts within the assembly.
Mr. Obasa dismissed his impeachment as invalid, stating that it did not adhere to due process.
He also assured that he would not retaliate against the over 30 state legislators who voted for his removal, emphasizing that they remain his brothers and sisters.
