As a seasoned journalist, our gallant, cheerful, and ever-smiling Chair consistently demonstrates her commitment to the highest standards of journalism. Her colleagues and peers attest to her unwavering professionalism, drive, and faith in journalism’s power to shape society.
However, Grace’s election wasn’t without challenges. She faced numerous obstacles but persevered, ultimately emerging as the first female Chairman of the NUJ FCT Council with 445 affirmative votes. Despite these challenges, Grace remained focused on her goals, driven by her passion for excellence and commitment to her colleagues’ welfare.
Her inauguration speech outlined her vision for the union, including healthcare, welfare, capacity building, accountability, and infrastructure development. Under her leadership, the FCT NUJ has witnessed significant transformation. Grace’s listening ears, compassionate heart, and dynamic leadership style have endeared her to colleagues, members, and stakeholders.
As she marks this milestone, it is crystal clear that amazing Grace’s best years are ahead. With her unwavering commitment to excellence, drive, and faith, she is set to achieve even greater heights.
