Ucheibe shines as Benfica wins Fifth Straight League title

Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe has played a pivotal role in helping SL Benfica’s women’s team secure their fifth consecutive Portuguese league title.

In a decisive 3–0 victory over Valadares, Ucheibe scored in the 78th minute, sealing the championship for her team.

The triumph was met with widespread celebration as Benfica lifted the trophy in front of passionate fans, draped in the club’s iconic red and white colors. Ucheibe, known for her defensive strength, tenacity, and consistency in midfield, has been an essential part of the team’s dominance in the league since joining Benfica.

This victory also guarantees Benfica a spot in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, where Ucheibe and her teammates will aim to showcase their talents on the European stage.
