Air Chief urges new NAF Pilots to serve Nation with dedication
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Bala Abubakar, has urged newly commissioned pilots of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) to regard their flying qualifications as a critical national responsibility.
He made the appeal during the joint graduation ceremony of Basic Transport Flying Course 5 and Ab-Initio Student Pilot Course 49, held at the 401 Flying Training School in Kaduna.
While addressing the 35 new aviators, Air Marshal Abubakar emphasised that their graduation marked the beginning of a lifelong service to the nation. He noted that the strength of the Nigerian Air Force lies in the quality of its training.
He also commended the 401 FTS for over four decades of outstanding service, during which it has trained more than 700 pilots for the NAF and other African countries.
The Air Chief reiterated the NAF’s firm commitment to improving training standards, enhancing personnel welfare, and safeguarding Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
