Joe Biden diagnosed with Aggressive Prostate Cancer

Former United States President Joe Biden, 82, has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, his office confirmed in a statement.
The diagnosis was made after Biden reportedly developed urinary symptoms, prompting a medical check-up at a hospital in Philadelphia last week. Doctors discovered a concerning nodule on his prostate during the examination.
According to his medical team, the cancer carries a high Gleason score of 9, indicating an extremely aggressive form of the disease. However, they noted it remains hormone-sensitive, leaving room for potentially effective treatment options.
Biden and his family are currently consulting with specialists to explore the best possible management plans for his condition.
The news has reignited public concern over the health of the oldest serving president in U.S. history, particularly given recent debates about his fitness and mental sharpness, which have featured in new books and media coverage.
Despite his health struggles, Biden — known for his longstanding advocacy for cancer research, especially after the loss of his son Beau to brain cancer in 2015 — continues to maintain a modest public profile.
Reacting to the announcement, former President Donald Trump sent a message of goodwill, extending prayers and wishing Biden a speedy recovery.
As Biden faces this latest health challenge, he remains an active figure in the country’s political conversation and public discourse.
