Djokovic, Sinner cruise into Wimbledon Third Round with dominant wins
Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic secured a comfortable spot in the third round of the tournament after overpowering Britain’s Dan Evans in straight sets.
The Serbian star won 6-3, 6-2, 6-0 in a match where he delivered a serving masterclass on Centre Court, leaving Evans struggling to keep up.
The 38-year-old Djokovic is aiming to equal Roger Federer’s record of eight Wimbledon men’s singles titles. Victory this year would also see him claim his 25th Grand Slam title, setting a new milestone in tennis history.
Meanwhile, world number one Jannik Sinner also advanced to the third round with an impressive 6-1, 6-1, 6-3 win over Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic. Sinner, who is chasing his first Wimbledon crown, showed no signs of slowing down as he dominated his opponent in a swift and clinical display.
