Al-Qadsiah sign Italian striker Retegui in €60m deal
Saudi club Al-Qadsiah have completed the signing of Italian forward Mateo Retegui from Atalanta in a deal reportedly worth over €60 million ($70 million), according to Italian media.
The 26-year-old, who joined Atalanta in 2024, had a standout season, netting 25 league goals.
While the club confirmed his signing on social media with the caption “El Matador. Al Qadsiah’s new power,” the duration of his contract remains undisclosed.
Retegui, who was born in Argentina but plays internationally for Italy, is expected to fill the gap left by former Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Aubameyang is reportedly set for a return to French side Marseille.
