Global music icon Celine Dion may be set for a return to live performances, as speculations grow over a possible concert series in Paris this September.

Although her management has not officially confirmed the development, reports suggest that promotional posters have surfaced in parts of the city, hinting at shows at the Paris La Défense Arena, a venue popular for hosting major events.

According to Canadian publication La Presse, the singer is expected to hold multiple shows weekly across September and October. However, no official dates have been listed on the arena’s schedule, leaving the reports yet to be confirmed. Recent posts by Dion on social media, where she shared throwback photos from Paris, have also added to the growing rumours of a comeback.

The singer has not performed live since March 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic forced the suspension of her world tour. The tour was later cancelled following her health struggles after being diagnosed with Stiff-person syndrome, a rare condition that affects movement and vocal ability.

Dion publicly revealed her diagnosis in late 2022, explaining how severe muscle spasms and physical challenges had impacted both her career and daily life. Her journey was later captured in the documentary I Am: Celine Dion, where she shared her emotional experience.

While earlier reports in 2024 pointed to a possible return to Las Vegas which did not happen, Dion made a memorable appearance at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics, reminding fans of her lasting talent.

If the Paris concerts are confirmed, it would mark a major comeback for the singer, signalling her return to the global stage after years away due to health challenges.
