Chief Judge Tsoho affirms cooperation with Code of Conduct Bureau
The Federal High Court of Nigeria has clarified that the Honourable Chief Judge, Justice John Terhemba Tsoho, remains fully committed to cooperating with the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) regarding its invitation.
Currently abroad for medical reasons, Justice Tsoho, through his legal representative Kanu Godwin Agabi, CON, SAN, has expressed readiness to attend the Bureau and comply with the process upon his return to Nigeria. The arrangement affirms his constitutional right to consult and be represented by counsel of his choice.
The position has been formally communicated to the CCB, confirming the Chief Judge’s willingness to appear and participate in the process in full compliance with the law and constitutional safeguards.
For scheduling purposes, the Bureau has been informed that any date during the week commencing Monday, 16 March 2026, is convenient for both the Chief Judge and his counsel. Justice Tsoho reiterated his commitment to due process, transparency, and respect for the rule of law.
