Flamingos to play New Zealand, Paraguay in World Cup warm-up matches

Nigeria’s Flamingos are set to play friendly matches against New Zealand and Paraguay as part of their preparations for the 2025 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup scheduled to take place in Morocco.
The team will face New Zealand in their first warm-up match on Friday, October 10, before taking on Paraguay four days later.
After the second game, the squad will move to the FIFA Hotel in Rabat to continue their build-up ahead of the tournament.
Players and officials are expected to depart for Morocco tomorrow for the friendly encounters.
At the World Cup, Nigeria are placed in Group D alongside Canada, France, and Samoa, and will begin their campaign against Canada on Sunday, October 19.
