17 Super Eagles arrive camp ahead of Lesotho World Cup Qualifier
Seventeen players of Nigeria’s Super Eagles have reported to camp ahead of their first training session today, as preparations intensify for Friday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Lesotho in South Africa.
According to the team’s media department, the Super Eagles are scheduled to train at 6 p.m. local time under the supervision of head coach Eric Chelle and his assistants, who arrived in South Africa on Monday ahead of the crucial fixture.
Among the early arrivals are star striker Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, Alex Iwobi, Calvin Bassey, and team captain William Troost-Ekong.
Friday’s encounter, set to kick off at 5 p.m., is considered a must-win for Nigeria as the team continues its push to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
