Gov. Fintiri appoints Emir of Fufore as Amirul-Hajj for 2025 Pilgrimage
Adamawa State Governor, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has appointed the Emir of Fufore, Alhaji Muhammadu Sani Ribadu, as the Amirul-Hajj and leader of the state’s official delegation for the 2025 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.
The appointment, according to the Governor, was based on the Emir’s dedication, wealth of experience, and commitment to religious affairs within the state.
Other members of the delegation include:
1. Alhaji Muhammad Buba Jidjiwa
2. Barr. A. T. Shehu
3. Alhaji Ibrahim Abba
4. Alhaji Abubakar Murtala
5. Alhaji Mohammed Dabo – who will serve as the Secretary.
Governor Fintiri charged the committee to carry out their duties diligently, ensuring a smooth and successful Hajj operation. He further urged them to work in synergy with all relevant agencies to guarantee the wellbeing and satisfaction of pilgrims.
The appointment was announced in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Humwashi Wonosikou, on Monday, April 7, 2025.
