Gratitude and Humility: Two vital keys to greatness!
Many people hold the mistaken belief that powerful, wealthy, and influential individuals must be arrogant and unapproachable. However, this is far from the truth, as the path to greatness is paved with humility. This is why most truly great men and women remain humble. If you aspire to greatness in life, you must cultivate an attitude of humility and gratitude—these are the two essential keys to true success.
Truly great individuals understand the value of saying “Thank you” for even the smallest gestures or gifts they receive. In contrast, those with a small mindset are often brash and ungrateful, finding it difficult to express appreciation, no matter the magnitude of what they are given.
As you rise in life, learn to appreciate people and remain humble. This is the only way to sustain your greatness. If you wish to assess your level of greatness, measure your level of gratitude and humility. The more grateful and humble you are, the greater you truly become. Do not attempt to elevate yourself solely by your own strength or ability; rather, humble yourself, and God will lift you higher each day.
Humility and gratitude serve as the stepping stones to a bright future. Truly great individuals respect people’s time because they understand the value of their own. Some mistakenly believe that keeping people waiting for hours or even days is a sign of importance, but it is not. Genuinely great individuals respect others and never look down on anyone, regardless of their current status. They recognise that life unfolds in phases, just as individuals vary in stature, and that it is ultimately God who elevates people.
Make a conscious effort to develop an attitude of gratitude and humility today. These two qualities are fundamental keys to achieving true greatness.
