NUJ FCT to honour Moji Danisa as Trailblazer in Tabloid Journalism

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council is set to recognise Mrs Moji Danisa with the “Trailblazer in Tabloid Journalism Award” for her outstanding contributions to the media sector.
As a hard-hitting investigative journalist, television presenter, producer, scriptwriter, and documentist, she has consistently pushed the boundaries of tabloid journalism with courage and professionalism.
In a statement signed by Secretary of Council Jide Oyekunle, the council will also recognise leaders who have paid their dues.
He said “ Rising quickly through the ranks to become a sub-editor and later leading her own media ventures, Moji has demonstrated exceptional leadership and innovation in storytelling that resonates widely with the public”
“Her work is characterised by fearless reporting and a commitment to uncovering truths that matter, making her a respected figure in Nigerian journalism.”
“Beyond journalism, Moji’s entrepreneurial spirit has earned her prestigious awards, reflecting her influence both inside and outside the newsroom”
Her ability to blend investigative rigor with popular appeal has set new standards in tabloid journalism, inspiring a generation of journalists to pursue impactful, audience-centered reporting.
According to the statement “This award recognizes Moji Danisa not only as a pioneer but as a queen of the craft—someone who has transformed tabloid journalism into a powerful platform for truth, entertainment, and social change”
We need more women like you to continue to speak truth to power and urge those who have fallen out to seek redirection and change their ways of life
Congratulations Dear Ma
Signed
Jide Oyekunle
