NUJ Zone D Condoles Former National Treasurer Over Mother’s Demise
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Zone D has expressed deep sadness over the death of the mother of Mohammed She. Tambarin Minna, a veteran journalist and former National Treasurer of the union.
In an official statement signed by the Vice President of NUJ Zone D, Adeiza Momohjimoh, and the Secretary, Dauda Mohammed, the union conveyed its heartfelt condolences to Mohammed She and his family during this period of mourning.
“The death of your mother is not only a personal loss to you but a significant loss to the community and the Minna Emirate as a whole,” the statement read. “She lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy that will inspire generations to come.”
The NUJ Zone D emphasised its solidarity with Mohammed She during this challenging time, assuring him that he is not alone in his grief.
The union expressed hope that he and his family would find comfort in the cherished memories of their late mother and the profound impact she made during her lifetime.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May Mama’s legacy continue to guide and inspire not just you but all the family she left behind,” the statement concluded.
The loss has been met with widespread sympathy within the media community, recognising the role Mohammed She has played in strengthening the journalism profession in Nigeria.
As the family mourns the loss of their matriarch, many have joined in offering their condolences and support, reflecting the deep respect and admiration held for the late Mama and her contributions to her community.
While details of the funeral arrangements are yet to be disclosed, the NUJ Zone D has pledged to stand by Mohammed She and his family throughout this period, upholding the union’s tradition of camaraderie and support among its members.
