President Tinubu swears in new administrator for Rivers State
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially sworn in Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (Rtd) as the Sole Administrator of Rivers State at the State House in Abuja.
Ibas took the oath on Wednesday after a brief meeting with the President, following his appointment.
This comes after President Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State on Tuesday evening, due to the rising political crisis.
