Team Akwa Ibom claims four boxing medals at Niger Delta Sports Festival

Akwa Ibom wrapped up their boxing campaign at the Niger Delta Sports Festival with a total of four medals.

Emediong Joe took gold in the men’s 75kg category, while John Bosco and Docas Onoja earned silver medals in the 80kg and 75kg categories, respectively.

Princewill Effiong secured a bronze medal in the men’s 51kg category.

The team’s head coach, Effiong Asuquo, was pleased with the outcome, noting it provides valuable experience for the upcoming National Sports Festival
