Thirty Referees earn FIFA Badges for 2025 global duties
Nigeria Football Federation will on Thursday morning officially award FIFA badges to 30 referees, granting them the authority to officiate as international arbiters in 2025.
NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, will oversee the ceremony, joined by the Chairman of the NFF Referees Committee, Mrs. Faith Irabor, General Secretary Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, and the Head of the NFF Refereeing Unit, Alhaji Sani Zubairu.
The 30 referees include 11 referees, 11 assistant referees, four futsal referees, and four beach soccer referees.
Among them, 22 are male, and eight are female, with three of the 11 referees being female, and five of the assistant referees also being female. All futsal and beach soccer referees are male.
