Tinubu names Gen. Olufemi Oluyede as new Chief of Defence Staff
President Bola Tinubu has approved a major shake-up in the leadership of Nigeria’s Armed Forces as part of efforts to strengthen the nation’s security architecture.
In the latest development, the President appointed General Olufemi Oluyede as the new Chief of Defence Staff, succeeding General Christopher Musa.
The appointment is viewed as a strategic step aimed at improving coordination among the military services and enhancing the effectiveness of national security operations.
