What is your partner becoming?

If you notice a decline in your mindset and sense of judgement soon after entering a relationship, it may be time to reassess. The truth is, we often become like the people we spend the most time with.
I’ve seen intelligent, well-mannered, inspiring, and successful individuals lose their spark after getting involved with certain partners—whether in dating or marriage. These warning signs often appear during courtship and should never be ignored if living a fulfilling and purposeful life matters to you.
If your relationship isn’t already enriching your life, don’t be fooled—no wedding ceremony will magically change that. In fact, it’s likely to get worse.
Before you propose (for men) or accept a proposal (for women), ask yourself:
Has this relationship been inspiring?
Do we truly listen to and respect each other?
Do we prioritise one another beyond mere words?
Has this journey been refreshing or draining?
Think deeply. Look beyond the moment. Forever is a long time. Make sure you know what you’re signing up for before you say, “I do.”
Feel me?
