Celebrating Rt. Hon. Muktar Aliyu Betara at 59: A Legacy of Service, Leadership & Impact
On behalf of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Federal Capital Territory Council, I extend warm and heartfelt felicitations to Rt. Hon. Muktar Aliyu Betara as he marks his 59th birthday.
As Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on the Federal Capital Territory, Hon. Betara continues to exemplify humble, resilient, and people-centered leadership. Since 2007, he has diligently represented the Biu, Kwaya Kusar, Bayo, and Shani Federal Constituency, building a distinguished public service career rooted in unity, accountability, and community advancement.
Under his stewardship, the FCT has recorded significant infrastructural progress and enhanced budgetary attention, resulting in improved services and better living conditions for residents of Abuja. His humanitarian contributions—ranging from provision of medical equipment and youth/women empowerment to support for vulnerable communities and development of vital projects including health centers, street lighting, ambulances, and recreational facilities—reflect a leader devoted to meaningful, life-changing impact.
As we celebrate this milestone, we honor not just a birthday, but a legacy of bridge-building, compassion, and steadfast commitment to national development. Hon. Betara has touched countless lives—and continues to do so.
May this new chapter bring him greater strength, wisdom, and good health as he deepens his service to Nigeria.
Happy 59th Birthday, Rt. Hon. Muktar Aliyu Betara. Your leadership remains a beacon of inspiration.
