FCT decides Update: Encouraging turnout at Kubwa, Byazhin LEA as voters defy apathy, vote-buying looms
At Byazhin LEA and Kubwa Primary and Secondary school 2, voter turnout is encouraging, with residents determined to make their votes count.
Materials arrived early by 8:30 AM, and from 11 AM, people have been streaming in to cast ballots before leaving promptly.
Busy polling units include 001, 008, 148, 146, 046, and 006 at Kubwa Primary School 2 and Kubwa Secondary School 2, plus LEA Biaji units 015, 021, and 112.
Women, especially market women, dominated the turnout, outnumbering men.
Their Complaints centered on the PDP candidate stepping down and they resolved to skip voting.
Meanwhile, voters were spotted sitting around, seemingly waiting for payments to influence their choices.
