FCTDecides2026: Vote Counting kicks off amid Voter apathy in Gwagwalada, Dawaki
Ballot counting is underway at key polling units in Dawaki/LEA (072, 068, 069, 067, and 004) within Bwari Area Council, FCT, following the close of voting.
Votes from other units are being sorted as of this report.
In Gwagwalada polling unit 02, 036, Fulani 2 all in Townhall ward counting has commenced
Voter apathy dominated the polls, with strikingly low turnout.
Our correspondent Adebola Oladosu report that counting began precisely at 2:45 PM after ballot sorting.
Across these units in Dawakai serving 414 registered voters—only 33 ballots were cast.
