Ministers to present scorecards at 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing
The Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation has announced that the 2025 Ministerial Press Briefing will resume on Friday, 21st February 2025, at 11:00 am. The event, scheduled to take place at the National Press Centre, aims to provide updates on government policies, programmes, and achievements under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive on transparency and accountability.
The briefing series, inaugurated by the Honourable Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, FNIPR, on 11th February 2025, will feature the Honourable Minister of Livestock Development, Mr Mukhtar Maiha, and the Honourable Minister of Regional Development, Engr Abubakar Momoh. Both ministers will outline key accomplishments within their respective sectors, highlighting progress made and future initiatives geared towards national development.
According to the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, this initiative underscores the administration’s commitment to fostering effective communication between the government and the Nigerian public. “This engagement seeks to enhance public understanding of the government’s progress and developmental agenda,” stated Dr Suleiman Haruna, Director of Press at the ministry.
Members of the press, stakeholders, and the general public are invited to participate in the briefing, which is expected to set the stage for further presentations by other ministers in the coming weeks.
