BREAKING: FG Declares April 18, 21 Public Holidays for Easter Celebrations

The Federal Government has announced Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025, as public holidays in honour of Good Friday and Easter Monday celebrations.
This announcement was made on Tuesday by the Minister of Interior, Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, who extended warm greetings to Christians across the country as they mark the season.
He urged Nigerians, especially Christians, to reflect on the sacrifice and love shown by Jesus Christ, who died for the redemption of mankind.
In a statement issued by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr Magdalene Ajani, the minister encouraged citizens to use the Easter holidays to pray for peace, unity, and the stability of the nation.
