Gov Alia appoints 2Baba as Technical Adviser on Entertainment

Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has officially appointed renowned musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface or 2Baba, as his Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.
The announcement was made in a video that surfaced online on Wednesday, drawing applause from members of the governor’s cabinet present at the gathering.
In his remarks, Governor Alia commended Tuface for his remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry and his efforts in supporting various communities within and beyond Benue State.
“You have contributed a lot of quarters to different areas including outside the states,” Governor Alia said, while also expressing gratitude for the singer’s open support for his administration and anticipated backing for the 2027 elections.
He added, “Once you say 2face, people start dancing even without a song,” praising the musician’s influence and popularity.
According to the governor, Tuface possesses the capacity to contribute meaningfully to the state’s progress and positively impact the lives of its people. “On behalf of the Benue state government, we want to give you some more responsibilities plus the ones you have been doing because you have the capacity to help us chalk the way forward,” Alia stated.
The appointment positions 2Baba to play a vital role in entertainment promotion and community development initiatives across Benue State.
