In the North-Central, morning thunderstorms will hit Benue, Plateau, Niger, the Federal Capital Territory, and Nasarawa, with similar weather expected in the evening across Kwara, Kogi, and Plateau states.
The Southern region is to experience cloudy skies with chances of early morning rains in Enugu, Ebonyi, Cross River, Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, and Bayelsa, followed by isolated thunderstorms and rains in most parts of the South before nightfall.
NiMet issued similar predictions for Sunday and Monday, warning of possible strong winds and advised residents to fasten loose objects, avoid driving in heavy downpours, and unplug electrical appliances.
