Flying Eagles Coach Aliyu Zubairu vows to forge unbeatable Squad for 2025 U-20 AFCON
Flying Eagles head coach, Aliyu Zubairu, is optimistic that the inclusion of foreign-based players will strengthen his squad for the 2025 Africa Under-20 Cup of Nations.
The Flying Eagles are aiming to secure a record eighth title when the tournament kicks off in Côte d’Ivoire on 26th April.
Coach Zubairu’s team recently played two friendlies against Côte d’Ivoire, winning one and losing the other.
Speaking to the newsmen, Coach Zubairu confirmed that additional players from the Nigeria Premier Football League, as well as foreign professionals, will join the team for their final preparations.
The team will battle Morocco, Egypt and South Africa in Group B of the Under 20 Cup of Nations.
