Governor Sule swears in members of newly reconstituted Teachers’ Service Commission
To strengthen governance and key sectors, Governor Abdullahi Sule has inaugurated the Chairman and members of the Nasarawa State Teachers’ Service Commission, along with the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Humanitarian Services.
The ceremony at the Government House reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to education, social welfare, and effective service delivery
Following a delay from the February 21st swearing-in, Princess Margeret Elayo, has finally been sworn in as the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Humanitarian Services, after being cleared of any fault. The Governor urged her to serve with integrity and diligence.
Governor Sule also inaugurated Timothy Kasuwa as Chairman of the Teachers’ Service Commission, along with other members. Amid a shortage of qualified teachers, he expressed confidence in their ability to enhance education in the state.
Addressing the restructuring of state ministries, the Governor announced the merger of Women Affairs and Humanitarian Services and the separation of Mining from the Ministry of Environment, aiming to enhance efficiency and productivity.


Following the meeting, commissioners briefed journalists on key discussions, which included the ministry restructurings and recruitment plans by the Teachers’ Service Commission.
With new appointments and reforms in place, expectations are high for improved governance and service delivery in Nasarawa State.
