JAMB releases results for 2025 Mop-Up UTME
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially announced the release of results for the mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on Saturday, June 28, 2025.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the board’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, it was confirmed that results have been released for 11,161 candidates out of the 96,838 who were scheduled to participate in the mop-up exercise.
JAMB explained that some candidates are yet to access their results because they failed to follow the approved guidelines for result checking.
According to the board, those affected did not properly send the required SMS format as directed.
“Candidates who are not able to access their results have been found not to have fully complied with the instruction to send ‘UTMERESULT’ (as one word text) to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number (SIM) used during registration for the UTME,” the statement said.
The board further advised all affected candidates to strictly follow this procedure if they wish to view their results, using the registered SIM cards they submitted during registration.
