JUST-IN: JAMB fixes 150 cut-off mark for 2026 university admissions
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board) has fixed 150 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into Nigerian universities for the 2026 academic session.
The decision was reached on Monday during the ongoing 2026 Policy Meeting on Admissions in Abuja, which had in attendance the Minister of Education, Tunji Alausa, as well as stakeholders from various tertiary institutions across the country.
The annual policy meeting is where critical admission guidelines are decided, including entry requirements and benchmarks for universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education nationwide.
Details of other resolutions from the meeting are expected to be released later.
