Kwankwaso urges Nigerians to join NDC, promises renewed push for good governance
Former Kano State governor, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has called on Nigerians to rally behind the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), urging citizens to support what he described as a renewed effort to deepen democracy and improve governance.
Kwankwaso made the appeal on Monday via his X (formerly Twitter) platform, stressing the need for a credible political platform capable of delivering meaningful change and advancing the welfare of citizens.
“We are determined to provide our people with a credible platform where they can thrive and realise their full potential,” he said.
The former governor noted that his call is driven by a long-standing commitment to democratic ideals, insisting that Nigerians deserve a system that prioritises their interests and delivers tangible results.
“I therefore call on all our dedicated supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to join the NDC and stand with us in this renewed fight for good governance and true democracy,” he added.
Kwankwaso further emphasised that the movement is focused on expanding opportunities for citizens, strengthening democratic institutions, and building a political structure that reflects the aspirations of the people ahead of the 2027 general elections.
