Newcastle dominates Leicester 3-0, strengthens Champions league Bid
Newcastle United solidified their bid for a Champions League spot with a resounding 3-0 victory over Leicester City.
This win propelled Eddie Howe’s team into fifth place in the Premier League, positioning them alongside Chelsea on points, albeit with a game in hand.
On the other hand, Leicester City faced a dismal record, becoming the first team in the top four tiers of English football to lose eight consecutive home league matches without scoring.
They are now 15 points away from safety with only seven games remaining.
Leicester will attempt to break their losing streak when they face Brighton at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, aiming to avoid a tenth consecutive defeat.
