Nigeria’s youth driving green innovation – NASENI boss
The Chief Executive Officer of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) has said that Nigeria’s growing focus on innovation and green technology, led by the country’s young people, is positioning the nation as a global leader in sustainability.
He explained that Nigerian youths are developing creative solutions in renewable energy, waste management, and digital technology areas that are key to the global transition to a cleaner future.
According to him, NASENI is committed to supporting local inventors and startups through research, funding, and partnerships that promote home grown technologies capable of solving both local and global challenges.
He added that with continued investment in innovation and skills development, Nigeria could become a major hub for green technology in Africa and beyond.
