NUJ FCT Council celebrates National President Comrade Alhassan Yahya on his birthday
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Federal Capital Territory (NUJ FCT) Council has joyfully congratulated the National President, Comrade Alhassan Yahaya Abdullahi, on the occasion of his birthday today, April 27, 2025.
In a statement the Chairman of Council Comrade Grace Ike described Comrade Yahya as a visionary leader steering the NUJ at a pivotal time in its history.
According to her “Comrade Yahaya has demonstrated unwavering commitment to press freedom, the welfare of journalists, and the promotion of ethical journalism across Nigeria”
“Under his leadership, the union continues to champion the rights and professional growth of its members amidst the evolving media landscape”
“On this special day, NUJ FCT prays for God’s abundant blessings upon Comrade Yahaya-granting him good health, wisdom, strength, and renewed zeal to lead the union to even greater heights”
“We celebrate your dedication, resilience, and passion for the journalism profession and stand firmly behind your vision for a stronger, united, and empowered NUJ”
