President Tinubu embarks on working visit to Paris

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to embark on a working visit to Paris, France, where he will assess his administration’s progress at the midpoint of his tenure.
The visit will provide an opportunity for the President to evaluate key milestones achieved so far, review the implementation of ongoing reforms, and strategise for the administration’s second half. The period of reflection is expected to shape policies aimed at reinforcing economic growth and accelerating national development.
As part of his economic agenda, President Tinubu will consider measures to strengthen recent financial reforms, particularly in light of the Central Bank of Nigeria’s report indicating a significant rise in net foreign exchange reserves. The reserves now stand at $23.11 billion, a marked improvement from $3.99 billion recorded in 2023, highlighting the impact of the administration’s fiscal policies.
Despite his time away, the President will remain actively involved in governance, maintaining constant communication with his team to ensure continuity in decision-making. His return to Nigeria is expected in approximately two weeks.
