Tinubu condoles Super Eagles star Chukwueze over Mother’s death
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has sent his condolences to Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze following the death of his mother, Mrs Sarah Chukwueze.
In a condolence message released on Thursday, the President also extended his sympathies to the Chukwueze family, friends and associates of the deceased, urging them to take comfort in her life, legacy and cherished memories.
President Tinubu described the loss as deeply painful, especially coming shortly after the death of the father of Super Eagles captain Wilfred Ndidi, noting that the football community was once again thrown into mourning.
“The passing of Mrs Chukwueze, the mother of one of our bright football stars, just a few days after the passing of Super Eagles’ Captain Wilfred Ndidi’s father, is deeply saddening. I mourn with them, and I am with them in prayers during this difficult time,” the President said.
He prayed that God Almighty grants the departed eternal rest and gives the bereaved family the strength to bear the loss.
