Tinubu names AVM S.K. Aneke as new Chief of Air Staff
President Bola Tinubu has approved a major reshuffle in the leadership of Nigeria’s Armed Forces as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the nation’s security framework.
In the latest development, Air Vice Marshal S.K. Aneke has been appointed as the new Chief of Air Staff. This comes alongside other key changes, including the appointment of General W. Shaibu as Chief of Army Staff and General Olufemi Oluyede as Chief of Defence Staff, succeeding General Christopher Musa.
The move is viewed as a strategic effort by the Federal Government to boost synergy among the military services and improve the overall efficiency of national security operations.
