Tinubu names Hon. James Faleke Renewed Hope Ambassador
President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hon. Abiodun James Faleke as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Secretary for Party Outreach, Engagement and Mobilisation.
The appointment was conveyed in a letter dated February 6, 2026, signed by the President in his capacity as Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Faleke, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, is to assume the role with immediate effect, according to the letter shared on his X account.
Under the new assignment, Faleke is expected to work closely with the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassador initiative and the National Chairman of the APC to promote harmony, inclusiveness and strategic coordination within the party’s mobilisation and engagement structure nationwide.
The President stated that Faleke would spearhead efforts to galvanise support, promote and disseminate the party’s programmes, policies, milestones and achievements in a bid to strengthen public confidence and reinforce the Renewed Hope message across the country.
Tinubu noted that the appointment is aimed at ensuring citizens are well-informed about the party’s agenda and are positioned to support its candidates at all levels ahead of the 2027 general elections. He described preparations for the polls as critical, expressing confidence that Faleke’s leadership would play a central role in driving the process effectively and strategically.
The President congratulated the lawmaker on his new responsibility and wished him success in what he described as a vital party and national assignment.
