Why I read comments from trolls – Veekee James

Renowned celebrity stylist Veekee James has shared her reason for reading comments from online trolls, stating that she approaches criticism with a spiritual mindset.
James, who has faced intense scrutiny, particularly over her marriage to Femi Atere, remains unfazed by the negativity. In a recent interview, she described online trolls as a “spiritual problem” that she chooses to confront through prayers.
“They are my spiritual problem; I cannot run away from them. I attack them spiritually and put them in my prayers,” she said.
James also explained that she deliberately reads comments to identify individuals who pretend to be supportive in person but criticize her online. According to her, this helps her filter negative influences and protect her mental well-being.
“I intentionally read comments so that I would know the ones to block because some of them are pretenders. You will see them outside, and they will hug you, but on social media, they are tearing you down,” she added.
