Praise trails Gov Bago as iconic Minna City entrance gets modern look
What was once known as the City Gate, the historic entrance into Minna, has been transformed into a modern and impressive overhead bridge, drawing admiration from residents and visitors alike.
The landmark project, which has changed the landscape of Niger State’s capital, is being hailed as a reflection of Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago’s vision for infrastructure development and urban renewal.
Supporters say the transformation demonstrates the governor’s foresight and determination to turn ambitious ideas into reality, while improving the aesthetic appeal and functionality of key public infrastructure across the state.
For many residents, the project is a visible symbol of the ongoing transformation agenda under the Bago administration and a sign of what they describe as the emergence of a “New Niger.”
“What was once known as City Gate, the entrance to Minna, is today a modern and beautiful overhead bridge. One with the power of foresight, a governor bringing dreams into reality,” a resident remarked.
As the new structure continues to attract attention, many have commended Governor Bago for what they describe as bold investments aimed at repositioning Niger State for growth and development.
