CAF unveils six match venues for 2024 WAFCON in Morocco
The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in collaboration with the Local Organising Committee, has confirmed six stadiums to host matches for the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled to take place in Morocco from July 5 to 26, 2025.
For the first time in the tournament’s history, six venues will be used. They include the Olympic Stadium in Rabat, Larbi Zaouli Stadium and Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca, El Bachir Stadium in Mohammédia, Honor Stadium in Oujda, and Berkane Stadium in Berkane.
The last edition of the competition, also hosted by Morocco, was won by South Africa.
Nigeria’s Super Falcons — nine-time African champions — have been drawn in Group B, where they’ll face Botswana, Tunisia, and Algeria.
