APC releases timetable, schedule for 2026 FCT Area Council Elections
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially unveiled the timetable and schedule of activities for the 2026 Area Council elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
The announcement, made public on Saturday, outlines key dates and procedures for the party’s internal processes ahead of the elections, including the sales of nomination and expression of interest forms, screening of aspirants, primary elections, and submission of candidates’ names to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The ruling party urged members and intending aspirants to strictly adhere to the stipulated schedule, assuring that the electoral process would be transparent, fair, and in line with the party’s constitution.
